Twenty-six Winters

Brewed: January 16, 1996

This was a brown ale that we brewed to commemorate thebirthday of Jennifer Arnold. Same extract as the Cursebreaker, but we used 1 lb of 40 lovibund crystal malt for this one, Northern Brewer hops for the boil, and Cascade for finishing. There was still yeast activity after two weeks in the bottle. Tastes great! The amount of carbonation was just right, although it couldn't seem to keep its head longer than a few seconds. True to form, after we brewed this, Jennifer & Pollo took the spent grains back to Santa Cruz for composting (sans worms).
