Pig de Resistance

Brewed: February 5, 1996

This proved to be an interesting effort: 6 lbs of light malt extract, 1 lb 'biscuit' malt, 1 lb Belgian malt, and all the hops I had lying around from previous batches: 1/2 oz. each of Kent Goldings (4.6%), Perle (7.8%), and UK Progress (6.1%) for the boil, and 2 oz. of the favorite Rocking Pig hop, Czech Saaz (2.5%) for finishing. Also included for the boil was the secret ingredient, 2 oz. of juniper berries (shhhhh!). Yeast was Wyeast Scottish Ale and London Ale.
Delicious! Although four weeks later, some of the bottles seem not to have held up so well...
