The only thing wrong with this one was that it was just too
heavy: over 9 lbs of malt for the 5-gallon batch gave it just too
much body. This was not a beer for drinking with anything, it
definitely demanded one's full concentration. 6.6 lbs of Edme
Dark malt extract went into this one, as well as about 3 lbs of
various grains (including Chocolate Malt and black barley). Yeast
was WYeast Scottish Ale. This was also the first batch I tried
adding gypsum to.
