Harper's Home

Heartfelt thanks to all the frequent visitors to this site since it first appeared in 1994.

This site survived several job changes, a trans-Atlantic move, and a major life crisis. But still, all good things come to an end, and this site has long outlived its usefulness to the harp community and the harp curious. When I began this site, it was the best, and possibly the only, harp resource on the web. Now, anno 2002, there is a vast multitude of other, better, more specialized, and above all more frequently updated harp sites out there, some of which are listed below. In short, I can no longer keep up with the competition, and even if I don't know exactly when to quit, eventually the message does get through!

You've been great. Thanks, and keep on pluckin'
