Up front I have to say, the one time I saw Ben Harper live, he failed to impress me. Maybe he was just in a bad mood that night in San Diego at the Street Scene festival. But -- years later, my friend Seamus lent me his "Burn to Shine" album, and this song just made my jaw drop. This song so well expresses the definition, on its best day, of the male aspect of being in love.
