"Fudge"
Ingredients -- Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian
This is more of an "idea"
than a recipe as of yet, I am still experimenting with
the amounts and proportions.
- Cream Cheese
- Melted un-sweetened baker's chocolate
- Cocoa powder (un-sweetened)
- Dash of Vanilla extract
- Keto sweetener such as coconut sugar or
allulose; some portion of Maple Syrup might go well here
- pinch of salt
- Optional garnishes and add-ins such as nut
pieces (pistachio, pecan, walnut, almond); cinnamon, etc. etc.
etc. to taste
Mix all ingredients thoroughly at room temperature
or hotter. Pour and press into a container such as
Tupperware, cover or seal and refrigerate very cold overnight,
but I don't recommend freezing. After it is cold, you
can slice it into squares and try to pry it out of the
container in order to serve it. You can dredge or shake
the squares in cocoa powder in order to keep them more dry and
less likely to melt at room temperature.
